Still looking for something smaller to carry when on vacation and just traveling along that would substitute for my Sony A7RIII and still provide me gret image quality and a sense of satisfaction when out shooting. The A7RIII is staying around for any professional quality work but something a little smaller and lighter would be nice.
Currently under consideration is the Fuji X-T20 and the Olympus Pen-F. Both are light weight and have high quality lenses available. The Pen-F has a one inch sensor while the Fuji has a larger APS-C sensor but the Olympus make up for that with an even greater selection of lightweight lenses and great in-body stabilization
Both cameras have a high end walk around lens choice. The Pen-F has a 12-40 2.8 lens that is the equivalent of 24-80 on a full frame body and the X-T20 has a 18-55 2.4-4.0 lens that is the equivalent of 27 to 83mm of a full frame body. Both lenses are stabilized and show in the attached image.
I have made arrangement to try out both of these this upcoming week. Maybe one of these will be the one 🙂
